I'm excited to announce the launch of our brick & mortar storefront, Modern Legacy Paper + Gifts! The storefront features a curated selection of gift items in additional to our wax seal stamps and stationery products. I've always dreamed of having a storefront to sell our products in and I'm excited to share with you today how that dream became a reality.
Prior to opening our storefront, we shipped all of our online and wholesale orders out of a studio space we created in the basement of our home. Our studio space served us well until there was a significant increase in the amount of wholesale orders we received. I realized that we were going to need a better space optimized to pack and ship orders. So I started looking for a space that we could use to ship orders out of and a retail space, if possible!
I have always loved the charm of downtown Seville. There are also numerous other reasons of why downtown Seville was a great fit for our business. We are local to the area and there is a great small business community, to name a few. I was thrilled when I found the perfect space available to rent in downtown Seville. The space I found is about 550 square feet and so charming with original wood floors, tall ceilings, and a brick exterior. It also has a great space in the back that is perfect for fulfilling our online and wholesale orders!
When you visit our storefront you will find our stationery products (Modern Legacy Paper Co) that we sell online, in addition to other gift items; which is why the storefront is called Modern Legacy Paper + Gifts. Our selection of gift items changes based on season and demand but generally speaking you can find candles, tea towels, puzzles, coffee items (whole beans, french press and pour over coffee makers, mugs), paper goods (notepads, notebooks, pens, recipe cards, greeting cards), jewelry, specialty chocolates, and more!
We opened the doors to our storefront on November 4, 2021, which ironically is exactly 3 years after we launched our online shop in 2018. I've already learned so much and I am honored to join the amazing business community in downtown Seville.
