How to Clean a Wax Melting Spoon

To create the best wax seals, we recommend using a wax melting spoon. All of our wax seal stamp kits come with a wax melting spoon. A wax melting spoon allows you to better control where the wax goes when you pour it to create a wax seal.

After you are done using the wax melting spoon, you will want to clean out the wax if you are switching wax colors. If you are not switching wax colors, there is no need to clean out the wax. You can simply add additional wax and reheat it and to create another wax seal.

If the wax is still hot in the spoon, carefully wipe it out using a paper towel.

If the wax cools in the spoon, simply reheat it over a candle for a few seconds, then carefully wipe it out with a paper towel.
